TransQueb
TransQueb is a musical epic that offers to spectators an instrumental performance ranging from the power of rock to the dancing rhythms of latin music, from the groove of a funk to an improvisation on modern jazz and all in a very colorful psychedelic universe. Founded at the cégep de Drummondville in 2016 by Nicolas Gosselin (Drums) and Jeffrey Gagnon (Guitar), they were then joined over the following years by Raphaël Côté and finally Maude Gauthier (Saxophone). The unique compositions of this formation are a continuous collective work shared with passion by the five members of the group. Influenced by a variety of styles like Jazz-Fusion, Progressive Rock and Psychedelic, they are constantly rethinking conventions and exploring creative possibilities. Many will recognize the sound of Uzeb, Return to Forever, Weather Report and Masayoshi Takanaka which will appeal to any lover of colorful, catchy and unpredictable music. Through their album ‘’Station’’ (launched August 27, 2022) TransQueb wants to take its audience on a journey to intriguing, even wacky, imaginary planes rich in depth. From the floating island (Windgardium) to the mysterious clearing (Monolithe), via the car of talkative retirees (Randrez-vous), the group invites the listener to let themselves be carried away in soundscapes that arouse emotion and wonder.
