Who we are

Toronto Undergraduate Jazz Festival Inc. is a federally incorporated nonprofit organization creating opportunities for young artists to showcase, learn and network.

Our Mission

  • Organization Overview: 

    • Target youth in need (those who want to be musicians) and present an opportunity to learn music without any concerns: provide mentoring from TUJF artists along with the necessary instruments supplied throughout the year

    • Through the long term mentoring, the youth beneficiaries become TUJF musicians in the future who mentor other young music dreamers

  • Events Overview: 

    • To create developmental opportunities for young artists in North America

    • To facilitate the experience of Jazz in the Now (the jazz music of today)

    • To educate the public in the cultural significance of jazz and the diversity of today’s music

    • To help recognize and promote individual and collective works of young artists in the local and broader communities
