Cityscape Jazz Orchestra

The Cityscape Jazz Orchestra (CTJO) is an 18-piece jazz orchestra from Toronto, Canada led by trombonist, Celine Tchang. This ensemble is made of emerging musicians from all over Canada to perform at a high-level of musicianship. The CTJO further pushes the contemporary jazz genre with inspirations from the big band tradition, video game soundtracks, and other popular music through their repertoire of original arrangements. The collective continues to strive to make the listening experience unique by creating a community with the audience to share the joy of music-making with everyone. The CTJO would be a great fit as it showcases many emerging musicians with a diverse number of individuals. This leads to a positive influence towards paying tribute to the various cultures that are apparent in the city through the various identities that present.
