Dennis Lee Trio

Dennis (Sanghyeon) Lee is a Korean-Canadian pianist, composer, and arranger based in Toronto, specializing in a wide range of jazz styles, including traditional swing, bebop, Latin, funk, hip-hop, and more. Over the course of ten years performing on international cruise lines as a showband and jazz musician, he has collaborated with artists from around the world and appeared in hundreds of live performances.

In 2023, Dennis became the youngest trio leader to perform at Take Five, a jazz-dedicated venue featured on select Princess Cruise ships. Receiving consistently positive feedback from passengers, he has been regularly invited back to lead his trio and entertain audiences.

While Dennis has been actively building his career at sea, he made his Toronto debut this year with his own trio, featuring outstanding jazz musicians Daniel Botos on bass and Rich Brisco on drums. The group focuses on the aesthetic of trio interplay, delivering dynamic energy to listeners through both original compositions and jazz standards.
